Tree service company is seeking a skilled CDL Truck Driver to join our team in Atlanta, GA. This position involves operating a grappler claw to remove, haul, and dump tree debris across the metro Atlanta area. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy equipment, particularly with the grapple claw on trucks. Truck is stationed in the Marietta office.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick-up the truck in the morning at the Marietta office and go to tree removal sites.
- Operate a grapple claw to pick up and load trees into the back of the truck.
- Drive throughout metro Atlanta to various job sites for tree debris removal.
- Climb the truck ladder to access the claw bucket.
- Rake and load smaller debris into the truck after larger debris is loaded with the grapple claw.
- Opportunity to travel for storm clean-up projects in the Southeast, with potential for increased earnings through "special operations projects."
- Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) required.
- Experience operating heavy equipment.
- Ability to work within the hours of 8 AM to 6 PM.
- Comfortable climbing ladders and performing physical tasks.
- Flexibility to travel for storm clean-up opportunities when necessary.
- Nice to have experience operating a grapple claw
