Summary
The position of Warehouse Lead Operator consists of coordinating the orders and activities engaged in storing
and / or distributing materials and products as requested. The Warehouse Lead Operator conducts and ensures the
accuracy of the documenting and monitoring of all raw materials, equipment and other items received and stored.
The Warehouse Lead Operator operates an industrial truck for moving inbound, inter-warehouse and outbound
product to assist shipping and receiving of finished items, works in process, various ingredients, and packing
materials. He / she is required to organize and ensure accuracy of inventories at first-in-first-out basis to ensure
efficient space and safety in warehouse.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Give orders and instructions to warehouse operators so that each member of the warehouse is aware of
what they need to do and what they’re responsible for to maximize quality and productivity.
Perform, document and monitor activities of workers engaged in receiving and shipping, stocking,
packing, repacking and additional warehouse functions.
Operate industrial truck to client trucks in a timely and accurate manner without causing any damage.
Prepare and ensure accuracy of documentation and calculation of ingredients and packing materials for the
production as instructed by the Supply Chain Manager.
Perform to receive, ship and store various materials and ingredients from / to warehouse, storage freezer
and / or cooler. Delivery to plant department as requested.
Conduct warehouse and freezer inventory periodically as scheduled.
Report daily food safety, food quality and employee safety problems to immediate supervisor.
Conduct on-the-job-training for newly hired operators in proper and safe operation procedures.
Ensure that team members follow defined procedures and working safely.
Organize, grounds keeping of warehouse, storage freezer and / or cooler after shipments to ensure a clean
work environment.
Maintain a safe work environment and ensure that all company safety policies and procedures are
followed.
Report and document any accidents and near misses to immediate supervisor in a timely manner.
Supportive Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain and support workers the attentiveness to unknown vehicles, drivers, and visitors within
warehouse.
May be required to assist and rotate to other plant personnel positions in daily duties
Perform other duties as assigned.
