We are looking for a skilled and motivated Azure Architect  with extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing multi-cloud hosting environments. The successful candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of cloud computing architecture, technologies, services, storage platforms, databases, networking, security, operations, and governance. This role will play a critical part within the Enterprise Architecture team, focusing primarily on Microsoft Azure , with additional experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)  being a plus.
Here's what you'll be doing :
- Lead the design and architecture of the organization’s Azure environment, ensuring adherence to the principles of the Azure Well-Architected Framework.
- Collaborate with teams specializing in software, networking, data, and security to maintain a secure, reliable, high-performance, and cost-efficient cloud environment.
- Ensure seamless integration between on-premises and cloud-based systems.
- Develop technical strategies for migrating applications and services to Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
- Establish and maintain cloud architectural policies and governance procedures.
- Design cloud-based solutions that align with business requirements.
- Provide mentorship, consultation, and training to development and infrastructure teams on cloud architecture best practices.
- Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and trends, recommending new Azure features and services that align with industry standards and business needs.
- Oversee the creation and implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or Bicep.
- Partner with IT security teams to define and enforce cloud security policies and standards.
- Ensure that cloud systems meet disaster recovery and business continuity requirements.
- Analyze and implement effective observability, monitoring, and alerting mechanisms for systems, services, and applications.
