Responsibilities
State of Idaho seeks a highly skilled Cloud Migration and Azure Architecture Consultant with expertise in designing, planning, and executing the migration of on-premise infrastructure to the Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
Qualifications
· Experience as a cloud architect working specifically with Azure Architecture: Required, 4 Years
· Experience architecting on-prem to Azure cloud migration: Required, 4 Years
· Strong experience with migration methodologies, tools, and automation (e.g., Azure Migrate, ASR, Azure DevOps): Required, 4 Years
· Expertise in cloud-native architecture, containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), and microservices: Required, 4 Years
· Experience in cloud infrastructure where the “Lift and Shift” and cloud-native applications co-exist: Required, 4 Years
· Experience with Azure services, including computing, storage, networking, security, and identity management: Required, 4 Years
· Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop, hybrid cloud setups, and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates): Required, 4 Years
· Architect experience in relevant technical environment - Microsoft SQL Server, .Net Framework Web applications, .Net Core applications to Azure Cloud: Required, 4 Years
· Migration of servers on VxRail: Required, 2 Years
· Exceptional communication and leadership skills: Required
· Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Administrator Associate: Highly desired
