What you will do
- Build backend code for financial processes from scratch and modify existing core applications using Java and Spring;
- Own the built components in production, performing needed support, troubleshooting, and monitoring;
- Participate in reviews of system architecture, code, and design documents;
- Analyze business requirements and design solutions to meet those requirements.
- 2 years of experience in Java (version 11 or higher);
- Strong knowledge of the Spring framework, including Spring Boot and Spring Core;
- Experience with SQL and databases such as MongoDB;
- Expertise in microservices architecture and REST/API-based development;
- Ability to write unit tests and integration tests for application reliability;
- Capability to work effectively within a Scrum team and agile environment;
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience;
- Experience developing applications with complex business logic;
- Upper-Intermediate English level.
- Experience with PostgreSQL;
- Control-M or similar orchestration platform;
- Drools or similar Business Rules Management System;
- Experience tuning and maximizing performance for high volume;
- Experience with cloud technologies such as Pivotal Cloud Foundry;
- Asset Management / Investments / FinTech experience;
- Working knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment and DevOps principles and tools (e.g., GitHub, Bamboo, SonarQube, Veracode).
