Description
Join Agilent’s growing API-Biopharma manufacturing team in a fast-paced GMP environment. As a Supervisor in Process Engineering, you will manage a team of engineers, supervise capital expansion projects, and drive process improvements to support the production of oligonucleotide-based therapeutics.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a team of engineers through all phases of capital expansion, including design, construction, commissioning, and validation.
Handle project schedules, budgets, and coordination across multi-disciplinary teams.
Develop user requirements, process designs, and equipment specifications for manufacturing expansion projects.
Lead all aspects of equipment procurement, installation, commissioning, qualification, and transition to manufacturing.
Support technical transfer and scale-up of processes into production.
Ensure compliance with Process Hazard Analysis, Process Safety Management, and Environmental Health & Safety standards.
Assist in validation activities, including Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and installation / operational qualification (IQ / OQ / PQ).
Collaborate with Quality Assurance to support Change Controls (CC / CSC), Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs), and audit responses.
Drive process improvements while ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant production.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, BioChemical, or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience.
1 years of formal or informal leadership experience in leading teams, projects, or programs.
Proven experience in pharma / biopharma or fine chemicals manufacturing.
Hands-on experience with P&IDs, facility layouts, mass and energy balances, solvent handling, equipment sizing, URSs, SOPs, and troubleshooting.
Strong background in capital project execution, including design, procurement, installation, commissioning, and qualification.
Familiarity with ASME BPE sanitary piping, NFPA 70 / NEC electrical standards, and International Fire and Building Codes.
Knowledge of SCADA, PLCs, and BAS programming and validation documentation (IQ / OQ / PQ).
Proficiency in CAD software.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills in a multifaceted, multi-functional environment.

This job has a full time weekly schedule. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
