Job Overview
The Technical Services Coordinator plays a vital role in overseeing biomedical and field service technicians, ensuring that medical equipment is inspected, repaired, and maintained in a timely and cost-effective manner. This position requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in promoting revenue growth, cost containment, and expansion of services with existing and potential customers
• Develop and implement effective conflict resolution strategies to address customer, employee, and service concerns
• Ensure compliance with ISO regulations and maintain accurate documentation to meet regulatory needs
• Train and coordinate technical services technicians, focusing on continuous improvement and teamwork
• Hold self and other technicians accountable for completion of assignments and maintain performance expectations to support operational budget
• Perform other assigned duties
Requirements
• Associate's degree in Applied Science (electronics or biomedical equipment technology preferred) or equivalent military training required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• At least 1 year of technical experience
• Strong knowledge of the healthcare industry, including hospital operations, alternate care providers, and medical equipment manufacturers
• Proven experience in medical equipment preventive maintenance, repair, and handling, along with proficiency in reading technical manuals and electric/pneumatic schematics
• Demonstrated competency in performing operational verification procedures, preventive maintenance, and repair services on various equipment
• Proficient in using test equipment and Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Valid driver's license and ability to lift and/or push 75 pounds
