Associate Attorney - Dallas,TX
Agility 360 is searching for an experienced Associate Attorney in Dallas, TX for one of our clients. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for work regarding default servicing and the handling of loan portfolios while utilizing the knowledge of the legal system and codes to maintain compliance.
Responsibilities
- Represent secured creditors, banks, and mortgage servicers in all stages of the default process
- Manage and maintain default files in accordance with the firm’s compliance requirements
- Review and sign documents in the default process, including motions, notices, affidavits, and other pleadings
- Review and compile documents required for the default process
- Research and analyze statues and codes, judicial decisions, legal articles, and similar materials
- Handling of a national portfolio of loans for banks and mortgage servicers
- Attend hearings, mediations, trials, settlements, and other appearances as necessary
- Review information in the firm’s case management, client, and investor systems to ensure data integrity and consistency
- Handle client inquires in a timely and competent manner
- Proper use of firm’s systems to ensure deadlines are met
- Maximize client billing opportunities while maintain a clear focus on compliance
- Maintain investor expectations by prioritizing and working at a fast pace with high volume of files.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an ABA accredited law school, required
- Experience in the default servicing industry preferred
- Admission to the State Bar of Texas, and preferably all the federal districts.
- Exceptional organization and managerial skills
- Excellent proofreading with high attention to detail
- Self-motivated
- License to practice law in other states is a plus
- Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac approved is a plus

- Pay Range $50,000 to $60,000
- Employment consideration is contingent on passing a background check and drug screen.
