Responsibilities:
- Maintain platform uptime, performance, stability, and scalability.
- Design, mentor, and guide system architecture and design.
- Develop and maintain a public API and robust, extensible solutions.
- Collaborate with teams on big data technologies, automation, and monitoring solutions.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Has experience in software and systems development.
- Possesses a strong software development background and experience building systems.
- Is proficient in at least one language such as PHP, Ruby, Python, JavaScript, Elixir, or Go.
- Has a strong background in Linux administration.
- Is experienced with cloud providers like AWS, Digital Ocean, or Google Cloud.
- Understands IT security best practices and network administration.
- Has experience with automation tools (Puppet, Ansible) and/or orchestration software (Docker Swarm, Kubernetes).
