DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Providing mechanical system diagnostics & repair support to production departments which operate printing presses, converting, test & material handling equipment
Building & installing machine upgrades and retrofits
Moving equipment
Provide support for a wide range of facility related needs
REQUIREMENTS & MUST HAVE
Have 10 years of experience in hands-on machine repair;
Have their own tools basic mechanic tools;
Be proficient reading CAD drawings, understand tolerances and be capable of measuring part dimensions;
Have a working knowledge of manual machine tools for milling & turning;
Be proficient in TIG & MIG welding. Sheet metal work is occasional but essential.
Be comfortable working with contractors when needed for machinery and facility support.
A working knowledge of electrical troubleshooting is not essential but is a plus.
