- POSITION OVERVIEW Join a well-established mechanical contracting firm in Silicon Valley! We're seeking a detail-oriented Project Accountant to strengthen our financial operations and project controls. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a construction accounting professional to make an immediate impact. Salary is $85k annually.
- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive project financial management from setup through completion
- Manage project billing cycles and collections to optimize cash flow
- Process and maintain certified payroll reports for public works projects
- Collaborate with Project Managers on cost reporting and analysis
- Maintain detailed job files and cost controls
- Support AP / AR functions and payroll processing
- Issue and track subcontracts and work orders
- Generate and analyze financial reports using Data Analytics tools
- QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 5 years of construction accounting experience
- Strong understanding of construction industry AP / AR and certified payroll
- Proficiency in construction accounting software
- Experience with public works projects
- Excellence in Microsoft Office suite
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills
