About The Role :
The Manufacturing Handler is responsible for supporting our humanoid robot Production and Service departments with material picking and delivery, WIP transfer, and in-house logistics Agility's new RoboFab factory in Salem, OR. This role is vital to our operations and the successful candidate will interface with Production, Service, Inventory, Quality, and Engineering. The ideal candidate is experienced working independently and in teams in a fast-paced lean manufacturing environment. This position has the potential for advancement in a rapidly growing company.
About The Work :
Perform picking, kitting and delivery of work orders and materials from Inventory to Production, Service, Rework, and NPI areas; confirming pick accuracy and item / package labeling.
Perform material transactions of parts and assemblies to / from inventory as required.
Resupply materials as needed to ensure no interruptions to Production and Service teams.
Maintain well organized materials areas (workstation bins, Kanban racks, floorstock, etc.)
Promptly identify and communicate issues to ensure safety, quality and delivery.
Stage and package finished goods for final distribution.
Documents and records materials transactions and locations.
Provide cross-functional support of other operations teams as needed.
Adhere to all safety protocols, policies and procedures and maintain clean and organized work areas.
About You :
High School diploma or GED ; experience working in manufacturing or warehouse a plus
Experience using ERP / MRP systems a strong plus
Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to take handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Process improvement mindset; 6S and Lean knowledge a plus
Ability to provide clear verbal and written updates to management
Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a factory environment
Good computer skills and proficient using Google sheets / docs and / or MS excel / word, and able to quickly learn new software applications and perform accurate data entry
Able to lift up to 50 lbs, have excellent manual dexterity and visual acuity
Ability to work overtime Mon-Fri, and as required on weekends (not typical)
Bonus Points :
Technical associates degree or equivalent military training
Providing technical assembly or repair services to autonomous robotic systems
Experience with ERP, Jira and / or Confluence a plus
Experience supporting high volume manufacturing in a factory
