Strategic Pricing Analyst

Agilix Solutions is seeking a Strategic Pricing Analyst to join our team. This role is integral to our pricing strategies, ensuring competitive pricing while maintaining profitability and customer satisfaction. This position entails the evaluation, development, and implementation of corporate pricing strategies to maximize profit without sacrificing market share in a competitive and dynamic market.

This role will report to the Pricing Manager.

Responsibilities

As a Strategic Pricing Analyst at Agilix Solutions, you will be responsible for analyzing market trends, competitive pricing, and customer data to assist in the development and execution of effective pricing strategies. You will also create a process of interfacing transactional data with reporting efforts. Your insights and recommendations will be crucial in maintaining our competitive edge and driving the company's growth.

• Market Analysis: Monitor market conditions, industry trends, and competitors to identify pricing opportunities and threats.
• Pricing Strategy: Collaborate with the pricing team to develop, refine, and implement pricing strategies aligned with the company's goals.
• Competitive Analysis: Analyze competitor pricing and market benchmarks to ensure that our pricing remains competitive and profitable.
• Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics and pricing software to generate insights and recommendations for pricing adjustments.
• Customer and Product Segmentation: Assist in segmenting customers and products to tailor pricing strategies to different market segments, maximizing revenue and customer satisfaction.
• Pricing Models: Help develop and maintain pricing models, considering cost structures, margin targets, and pricing elasticity.
• Price Setting: Participate in the process of setting and adjusting product prices, considering product lifecycle and demand dynamics.
• Price Governance: Assist in enforcing pricing policies and guidelines to ensure consistency and compliance throughout the organization.
• Performance Tracking: Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of pricing strategies and their impact on financial performance.
• Reporting and Presentation: Create clear and concise reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
• Experience in pricing analysis or a related field.
• Heavy use of Excel, including strong proficiency with command functions like V-Lookups and Pivot Tables
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful insights using Excel.
• Demonstrated experience in using Excel to analyze large datasets and present findings effectively.
• Proficiency in data manipulation and query design, including the ability to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data for analysis.
• Knowledge of pricing software and tools.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and across departments.
