Aging in Place is committed to providing the much-needed quality care that the senior population deserves. We are looking for a caring and devoted caregiver who is passionate about improving the lives of the people they care for and their families.
Aging In Place is also a preferred provider for the VA and is honored to be able to serve our veterans. We are looking for a compassionate individual wanting to make a difference in the life of Veterans in Excelsior Springs,MO. All caregivers including males and veterans are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities
Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly clients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing, and eating
Help clients take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulation
Help with mobility around the house
Prepare and serve meals
Assist with physical therapy exercises as needed
Complete client’s shopping
Perform cognition exercises with clients
Perform housekeeping duties
Report any unusual incidents
Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
Offer activities that are essential for daily living and with others tasks as needed
Qualifications
Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
Ability to lift and / or move up to 50 pounds with the physical capability to perform job-related duties
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every single day
Ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
Prior experience in healthcare or in-home care environment
Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
Supportive and compassionate
High School Diploma or equivalent, Experience as a Caregiver, CNA or HHA, or completion of a CNA Program
Effective verbal and written communicator
Take pride in providing high-quality care
Reliable, dependable, punctual
