Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Support clients in daily living activities such as cooking, cleaning, and maintaining a safe environment.
- Assist individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving their personal goals and enhancing their independence.
- Monitor and document vital signs as needed, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
- Implement care plans tailored to each client's unique needs and preferences.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and cognitive skills.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations while providing care.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients with conditions such as dementia.
Skills
- Experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities is preferred.
