Overview
We are seeking a smiling, friendly and organized Host to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, answering phones, placing take-out orders, and coordinating seating arrangements in a busy restaurant environment.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with menus.
• Manage the reservation system with Opentable and ensure efficient seating arrangements.
• Communicate wait times to guests and assist with any inquiries they may have.
• Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area.
• Collaborate with the restaurant staff to ensure smooth service flow.
• Handle phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations as needed.
• Assist in guest relations by addressing any concerns or special requests promptly.
• Support the team during peak hours by helping with additional tasks as required.
• Taking take-out orders via Toast POS.

Skills

• Proficiency in Toast POS system is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.
• Strong customer service orientation with a focus on hospitality.
• Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant setting is advantageous.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of phone etiquette to manage incoming calls professionally.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help others contribute to a great dining experience.

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
