AGL Welding Supply Co. is a regional Leading Distributor of Specialty, Medical and Industrial gases in the NY/NJ metro area. A family owned business since 1920, AGL strives to exceed customer's expectations with excellent customer service.
AGL is looking for a Full-time Counter and Storefront Sales Representative to assist walk-in customers in finding the right products for their specific needs.
Responsibilities:
- Serve walk-in customers and assess customers' needs
- Answer customer questions about products, prices, availability and product uses
- Field incoming calls
- Assist in placing and processing orders via phone, fax, email or in person
- Receive and resolve customer inquiries and complaints ensuring customer satisfaction
- Follow-up quotations to obtain orders
- Support sales representatives' efforts to obtain and/or maintain customers.
- Exchange gas cylinders with walk in customers.
- Comply with DOT and OSHA regulations
- Perform other projects and duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Possess excellent attitude
- Possess the ability to learn and retain detailed product information and ability to creatively apply the knowledge to deliver solutions to our customers’ unique needs
- Detail-oriented
- Excellent communication skills, with focus on customer service
- Strong computer skills
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
