Pivot Irrigation Specialist, Pivot Service Technician

AgLand Electric & Irrigation in Ord, Nebraska is looking for an experienced Pivot Service Technician to join their team! The Pivot Service Technician must be experienced with troubleshooting electrical issues, ability to lift up to 100 lbs. regularly and provide excellent customer service.

Pivot Service Technician Compensation and Benefits:

· $20-30 per hour

· Overtime after 40 hours worked

Pivot Service Technician Job Duties:

· Diagnosis and repair Valley and all other electric brand Pivots

· Provide excellent customer service in a professional and positive manner

· Execute a plan and service call

· Operate and efficiently run a service truck

· Install and repair underground electrical and control panels

· Have the ability to use a volt meter to trouble shoot electrical issues

· Repair and replace pivot parts as needed

· Install and repair underground water pipe for irrigation services

· Troubleshoot and repair well motors

· Willingness to climb on top of pivot towers

· Ability to operate tractors, forklifts, skid steers, telehandlers, backhoes, etc.

· Utilize the FieldAware software for service calls

· Install and repair remote pivot technology products, such as Telemetry

· Use the proper personal protective equipment to safely complete the job

Pivot Service Technician Schedule: Hours vary based on season and weather conditions

· Regular Season: Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

· Busy Season: Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, ½ days on Saturday’s

The Pivot Service Technician must have a Class B CDL or the ability to obtain one. They must have an acceptable driving record as reflected by an MVR.
