As a Home Health Aide, you will play a crucial role in assisting patients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting independence. *Responsibilities* - Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing needs. - Help with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety during movement. - Monitor vital signs and report any changes in the patient's condition. - Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities. - Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed. - Document patient observations and care provided accurately in medical records. - Support clients with dementia care and memory care strategies to enhance cognitive function. - Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety protocols. *Qualifications* - Previous experience in nursing home or home community care settings is preferred. - Certification in CPR is highly desirable. - Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and patient observation techniques. - Familiarity with medical documentation practices is a plus. - Experience in dementia care or memory care systems is beneficial. - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and families. - Compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
