Job Summary:
The HOA Manager Associate will play a critical role in maintaining strong relationships with Association Boards, ensuring compliance with regulations, and enhancing the quality of life for community residents.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned by management.
1. HOA Operations and Management:
- Manage day-to-day HOA operations, including but not limited to, compliance, maintenance, landscaping, security, and reporting
2. Financial Management:
- Assist in developing and the management of annual budgets for HOAs, ensuring financial stability
- Oversee collection of dues, fees, and assessments
3. Compliance and Governance:
- Advise HOA Board on relevant laws, regulations, and governing documents
- Coordinate and assist in with Board meeting preparation, including but not limited to, preparation of meeting agendas, management reports, and Board packets.
4. Vendor and Contractor Management:
- Oversee relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers to maintain property value and ensure quality services
- Solicit bids for services and manage contract negotiations
5. Resident Relations:
- Address homeowner inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner
- Foster positive community environment and promote resident engagement
6. Architectural Review and Covenant Enforcement:
- Facilitate architectural review processes to ensure compliance with community guidelines and design standards
- Enforce community covenants and rules, and address violations as needed
7. Project Coordination:
- Assist in the coordination of community improvement projects, renovations, and capital expenditures
8. Communication and Reporting:
- Maintain open and transparent communication with clientele, team members, and residents
- Prepare regular reports on HOA operations, financial performance, and projects
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Property Management, or related field
- Proven experience (3 years) in HOA management or related roles, with knowledge of community association management practices
- Strong understanding of HOA regulations, governing documents, and compliance
- Proficiency in property management software and tools
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Possesses a poised and composed professional attitude, excelling in a high-speed work environment
Compensation and Benefits:
- Full-time | In Office (this is not a remote or hybrid position)
