Job Title: Data Analyst
Location: Pittsburgh PA
Ability to work Hybrid: Yes, candidate must expect to be in office 5 days however, the option of hybrid work will be offered at times.
Acceptable time zone(s): must be willing to work EST
Working Hours: 8-5 EST
Travel: no
Days of the week: M- F 40 hours
OT: Possible, but not expected
Reason for open position: Backfill
Potential for Contract Extension:
- This position is contract with the right to hire if a need becomes available. Manager will only look at candidates that are open to converting to a full-time employee

Industry background: Data analyst or business system analyst
- Roles and Responsibilities: Data warehouse experience, Requirement Analysis, translate business requirements to technical specifications, perform data analysis, extensive experience in SQL and writing complex query writing, ETL, document source to target mapping, experience in database modeling & design, implementation and maintenance. Experience with Oracle, Teradata, Hadoop/Big Data. Experience in business intelligence tools (OBIEE/Tableau). Related certifications preferred.
Must Have Technical Skills:
- ETL
- SQL (Prioritized skill, most be extremely proficient)
- JIRA
- Microsoft Office (specifically Excel)
- Data Warehouse
Flex Skills/Nice to Have:
- Presenting
Soft Skills:
- Communication skills at all levels of business
- Documentation skills.
- Bachelor's degree required in a technical field or business with an emphasis in technology, any certifications related to agile or requirement elicitation, safe certifications - Degree preferred, experience required.
Years of experience: Level 2 3-5 years
