Opportunity :
A highly regarded international law firm seeks a corporate energy lawyer with 3-5 years of post-qualification experience to join its established team in Singapore. The role involves advising on transactions across the energy sector, including renewable energy (wind, solar, carbon capture) and conventional power projects. Clients include international funds, developers, independent and state-owned power producers, and oil and gas companies operating across Southeast Asia.
Responsibilities :
- Advise on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and project financing within the energy and infrastructure sectors.
- Work on cross-border transactions, supporting clients on complex legal matters.
- Assist with equity and debt capital market transactions, private equity and venture capital fund raisings, and regulatory work.
- Provide legal counsel on acquisitions, disposals, and specialist energy and infrastructure contracts.
- Collaborate with Singapore-based partners and international colleagues.
