- Accurately answer technical questions for sales, purchasing, receiving departments and/or customers.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and repair improperly functioning devices and/or electronic components.
- Test replacement orders accurately and efficiently when needed by shipping/receiving staff.
- Properly grade, separate, and document tested parts accurately.
- Meet production schedules and deadlines according to quality standards as assigned via daily, weekly team and individual goals.
- Multi-task, prioritize, and work in a flexible and changing environment with multiple competing deadlines
- Effectively communicate (oral, written, visual and verbal) findings and maintain good relationship with co-workers, shipping/receiving staff, sales team, and supervisor daily
- Interpret written instructions and schematics, and follow detailed verbal directions
- Perform basic mathematical calculations
- Utilize testing machines and a variety of hand tools with a high level of manual dexterity
- Research and maintain a current, working knowledge of technical information and testing equipment
- Complete data entry of logs and forms on an internal computer system
- Learn multiple tasks, cross train, and perform job functions in other departments, as needed
- Accurately perform job duties with minimal supervision
- Work effectively using low-power magnification, and see details within a close range
- Perform warehouse duties when necessary (move up to 70lb boxes, use pallet jack, trash duties, basic organization, cardboard compactor, recycling scrap parts, cycle counting inventory).
- Adhere to AGParts Operational policies and procedures during daily shift.
- Alert IM of any activity that is not conducive of a productive work environment for any actions of a repetitive nature.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of two years of experience
- Knowledge of basic math
- Near vision-ability to see details at close range
- Finger dexterity-ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small objects
- Active learning-understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making
- Documenting/recording information-observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources
- Establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships
- Possess technical aptitude
- Ability to maintain a safe work area
- Technical knowledge of Chromebooks and Apple products a plus
Salary : $17 - $20
