Requirements
This position will support the Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining the physical integrity of the community. This involves ensuring a safe, secure, and comfortable environment for residents, visitors, and staff. The Maintenance Technician II will conduct assigned duties safely and other duties as requested by the Maintenance Manager.
Successful candidates will possess the following skills/experience:
- Perform repairs on make-ready units.
- Perform work order requests as requested by residents.
- Inspect the property for improvements and repairs and review with the Maintenance Manager.
- Assist the Maintenance Manager with maintenance requests.
- Ensure that the grounds are always free of litter.
- Operate and perform scheduled maintenance properly on all equipment.
- Assist the Maintenance Manager or Housekeeper with their work if necessary.
- Assist the Grounds personnel with trashing out units if necessary.
- Assist the Maintenance Manager with inventory control and utilizing maintenance materials and supplies.
- Strong ability to multi-task and work with third-party vendors.
- Strong ability to work in a team environment.
Experience & Certifications:
- EPA 608/HVAC Certification - Preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License - Required.
