Our Outside Sales Rep would need to have the ability to work independently without close supervision. This involves getting in front of new and existing customers to find out what their needs are now and in the future. The position requires much cold-calling and frequent travel to the individual locations for to let them know about us and what we offer to their industry. You must be a self-starter and have the desire to find opportunities.
Having a working knowledge of welded and bolted tank construction is important but not an immediate requirement for the position.
You will be responsible for most of your leads, and you will need to use a CRM to track them.

Required
- Must have Outside Sales experience and be able to generate your own leads.
- Clean driving record
- Drug Free
- Must be able to travel overnight up to 90% of the time within your assigned territory
- You must have the ability to communicate with people of various positions representing our company.
- Cold call on facilities with liquid fertilizer, water storage tanks and plating companies.
- Submit to the correct office any leads needing a quote
- Follow up on the quotes you have generated.
- Utilize CRM to track your contacts
- Attend trade shows when needed or asked
- Represent the company in a professional manner which also includes answering the phone before 8am and after 5pm if someone is calling.
- Turn in weekly sales summary to the Sales Manager
- Look for opportunities to expand the business and submit them to be evaluated.
