General Statement of Responsibilities
Performs technical support duties in a J.I.T. manufacturing system, e.g. – Employee Involvement, Total Quality, Continuous Improvement, Housekeeping, Elimination of Waste, Communication, Coordination, etc. that meets production and customer requirements.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and minor electrical systems to the component level on all types of manufacturing and/or mobile equipment.
· Rebuilds transfers, feed clutches, ram slides, scraping and fitting keys for gears/shafts, conveyors, pumps, and washers.
· Ability to fit and machine material.
· Installs and sets-up new equipment.
· Performs basic welding and fabrication duties.
· Maintains and replenishes spare parts.
· Performs basic preventive maintenance on manufacturing and/or mobile equipment.
· Ability to follow and understand written and verbal instructions.
· Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and written instructions.
· Maintain and support safety, environmental, and health policies & procedures, such as Hazardous Waste
· Operation of mobile equipment
· Training other employees
· Other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
· Able to lift 85 lbs.
· Able to reach above shoulder, bend, and stoop.
· Able to wear personal protective equipment in areas where applicable and/or dictated by task.
· Able to use mobile equipment.
· Able to stand for entire shift if required.
· Able to sit for entire shift if required.

· Performs work accurately and efficiently in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures, Manufacturing Instructions, ISO/IATF Procedures and other relevant documents.

· Understands and follows all health, safety, environmental regulations/rules always.
· Accurately completes reports, logs, and other documentation.
· Understands and consistently meets company, team, profile, and behavioral expectations.
· Uses problem solving tools to identify the root cause(s) of problems related to product, machinery, and processes.
· Understands and follows Company policies and procedures.
· Demonstrates proper use and care of hand tools.
· Performs visual, mechanical, electrical and process audits as required.
· Understands how to access electronic information, including work instructions and procedures.
· Participates in team environment and completes assignments for various functions including (but not limited to) EHS and continuous improvement.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
High School diploma or equivalent, and related experience.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee frequently is required to use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee occasionally required to walk, reach with hand and arms.
The employee must regularly lift and or move up to 10-25 pounds, frequently lift and or move up to 26-50 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 85 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
