Power Platform Developer:
The Power Platform Developer is instrumental in building and automating business applications and processes to streamline operations and enabling actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing solutions using Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint, with a strong background in data analysis, dashboard creation, and business process automation. This position is perfect for someone looking to enter an organization on the ground floor of its modern data and analytics journey and make immediate impact as IT employee #3 as the company experiences explosive growth. The Power Platform Developer will report directly to the Chief Information Officer and work closely with business stakeholders at every level across the Company.
What you will do:
- Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive BI solutions using Power BI to provide real-time reporting, dashboards, and visualizations.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements, translating them into technical specifications and scalable solutions.
- Develop and automate workflows using Power Automate to streamline and optimize business processes.
- Build and deploy custom business applications using Power Apps to solve business challenges and enhance productivity.
- Integrate and customize SharePoint solutions to support business collaboration, document management, and process automation.
- Maintain and optimize existing Power BI dashboards and reports, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Work closely with our external partners’ data engineers, database administrators, and IT teams to ensure data integrity, performance, and security.
- Support end users by providing training and ongoing technical assistance for Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint tools.
- Perform data analysis, cleansing, and transformation from various sources to ensure data quality and reliability.
- Continuously monitor BI system performance, identifying and addressing potential issues or bottlenecks.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint to recommend enhancements.
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in Power BI development, including DAX queries, Power Query, data modeling, and custom visuals.
- Strong proficiency in Power Apps development, including Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps.
- Extensive experience with Power Automate to design and implement automated workflows.
- Advanced knowledge of SharePoint development and customization, including integration with Power Platform tools.
- Proficient in SQL for querying and manipulating data.
- Experience in ETL processes, data integration, and data transformation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with MS Fabric, Azure Data Services, Microsoft Dynamics, or other CRM/ERP systems is a plus.
- Project Management experience is a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft certifications in Power BI, Power Platform, Azure, Fabric or SharePoint are highly desirable.
- Experience in managing and securing data access and permissions in SharePoint and Power BI.
- Knowledge of RPA (Robotic Process Automation) or AI tools integrated with the Power Platform.
