This individual will Manage/ lead software engineers assigned to work on Scrum Teams. The software application runs on the Linux operating system and is primarily written in the C-Language, with some code written in Python. Client uses the Agile Scrum methodology.
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Software Engineering Manager at AgreeYa Solutions in Holmdel, NJ, with flexibility for remote work. The Software Engineering Manager will be responsible for code review, program management, team leadership, software design, project management, and overseeing distributed systems on a day-to-day basis.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience as a manager in a product company with 10 years on experience as a Software Developer in the past.
- Experience working in an Agile Development environment
- Extensive experience with the C-Language
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with agile methodologies
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field
