Summary:
AgReserves, Inc. (ARI) is looking for a Director of FP&A and Business Intelligence to join the Finance Leadership Team. This role involves leading financial planning and analysis, as well as the business intelligence group. The Director ensures adherence to policies and standards for data integrity and effective financial and managerial reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the development, maintenance, and integrity of data for use in reporting, budgeting, and analysis.
- Research, evaluate, and recommend business intelligence initiatives and financial planning and reporting.
- Oversee the planning of projects to produce reports and perform meaningful quantitative or qualitative analyses.
- Act as a liaison between information users and FP&A/BI teams.
- Drive organizational metrics and measures to align with overall business strategies, goals, and objectives, with the ability to link performance measures.
- Oversee the technical support and training for report users and aid in defining any reporting requirements.
- Participate in design reviews of potential new systems.
- Uphold organization standards regarding data governance and use of authorized reporting tools.
- Align resources to support the execution of objectives.
- Champion change management processes.
Qualifications:
- B.S. in Accounting or Finance, an MAcc, MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred.
- Ten (10) years of experience partnering with senior management in business planning, analysis, and reporting (financial, managerial, and compliance).
- Experience with Reporting services, analysis services, integration services, SQL queries, and other report tools such as MicroStrategy, Power BI, etc.
- Commitment to ongoing personal professional development with the highest level of professional conduct.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven leadership in people development.
- Understanding of reporting needs across the organization.
- Demonstrated ongoing application of team principles including trust building, constructive conflict, and joint accountability.
- Second language (Spanish or Portuguese) preferred.
- Experience in process improvement, using Six Sigma or similar discipline preferred.
