About the RoleThe Maintenance Technician is responsible for preventative and scheduled maintenance to the production plant as well as customer equipment.
Responsibilities- Provide preventative and scheduled maintenance to the production plant as required
- Do welding and fabrication regularly
- Perform mechanical failure troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Provide maintenance to all electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems as needed
- Maintain the boiler and steam systems
- Communicate with mixers regarding the operation of the plant
- Assist with unloading of trucks and railcars
- Keep facility clean, neat, and free of clutter
- Process relevant work orders in Maintenance Connection
- Assist transportation maintenance as required
- Assist in ordering, receiving parts and required supplies
- Operate a forklift according to safety standards
- Adhering to all safety, SFSF and company policies
- Participate in required training
- Maintain a positive attendance record by demonstrating consistent and punctual attendance on a regular basis
- Briefly mention math skills and computer knowledge
- Highlight high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Show one year related experience or training
