What are the responsibilities and job description for the President AB Foods position at Agri Beef?
The President of AB Foods is responsible for maximizing profitability by leading and optimizing overall daily operations of Agri Beef’s two beef processing facilities. The focus of this role will be on driving operational excellence, streamlining processes, ensuring quality, efficiency and attainment of company goals in sales, financial operations, human resource development, and general operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- In conjunction with the CEO and other company personnel, develop and implement the strategic plan, ensuring adequate resources are in place to achieve goals
- Build an effective, productive and cohesive team dedicated towards achieving continuous improvement objectives that improve productivity, efficiency and quality
- Coach, encourage and model the Company’s core values (leadership, integrity & innovation)
- Serve, support and develop management team members & staff, while ensuring a strong positive morale/culture is beholden throughout the organization
- Develop, plan & implement annual business plans and budgets geared towards objectives that improve efficiency, reduce operating costs and address future customer expectations
- Maintain and enhance the company’s reputation as a leader in the industry
- Develop annual capital planning budgets and expenditures
- Represent the company at industry meetings and events
- Provide leadership example for entire company and all divisions
- Maintain and enhance technical proficiencies required of the position
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and motivate teams that achieve results
- Experience providing strategic leadership and developing comprehensive programs and plans
- Ability to analyze and determine methods and procedures
- Ability to prioritize competing commitments in line with departmental and/or corporate objectives
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and database management tools
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time, primarily between two plants in WA and ID
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent work experience
- 10 years in a senior leadership experience in a meat production company, preferably beef
- Oversight of multiple facilities preferred
