General Role
Under the direction of the Director of Program Operations, the Center Director is responsible for overseeing the daily programmatic and financial operations to ensure compliance with all policies and procedures of ABCD, Head Start Program Performance Standards, OCFS Regulations, CACFS/USDA Regulations and all applicable federal, state and local laws.
Education / Experience / Requirements:
- Bachelor degree including, or in addition to 12 credits in Early Childhood, Child Development, or related field
- 1 year full time teaching experience in a child day care center, family or group family day care home or other early childhood program
- 1 year of experience supervising staff
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred.
