Infant/Toddler Teacher ABCD has provided services to migrant, seasonal, and local farm workers’ children as well as other urban and rural low-income families since 1946. As a non-profit provider of comprehensive child development services for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, the agency serves on average over 1,200 children in nineteen rural New York State counties.

ABCD has a current and immediate opening for a Infant/Toddler Teacher!
General role:
Under the direction of the Teacher I and Education Coordinator promotes the theories and principles of child growth and development, early childhood education, and family support. Puts into practice theories and sound principles of child education.
Education / Experience Requirements:
Preferred: Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development from an accredited institution.
Accepted: Current Infant/Toddler CDA
-OR-
Experience working with infants and toddlers
- AND one of the following:
Coursework or training with infant toddler content or a degree in a related field Training with infant and toddler content
Responsibilities:
Supervise a group of children independently under the direction of the Teacher I and Education Coordinator implementing and complying with the education program standards and coordinating all components of the program as they apply to her/his classroom. Employees assigned to Infant and Toddler classrooms will assume the lead role for a group of 4 children.
