Job Summary:
Agri Custom Farm Services, a leader in agricultural innovation, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Assistant professional to assist in managing and maintaining our diverse fleet of vehicles and equipment. This role will support the efficient operation of tractors, agricultural machinery, and small, medium, and heavy-duty trucks, ensuring they are ready to meet the demands of our agricultural operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a passion for problem-solving, and a commitment to safety and execution. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a positive and energetic approach towards team dynamics and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist in scheduling and dispatching fleet assets to support field operations and ensure timely availability.
· Coordinate routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs for a fleet including tractors, agricultural equipment (e.g., sprayers, harvesters), and small, medium, and heavy-duty trucks.
- Provide administrative support and communication with drivers and field operations managers.
- Quality Control of Operations: Checking on foliar sprays, herbicides, mowers and discs.
- Quality Control of Harvest: Keeping eyes on machinery during harvest with the goal of a safe successful harvest.
- Liaise with vendors, contractors, and team members to ensure smooth coordination.
- Support chemical and inventory management and tracking from vendors.
- Process Improvement: Assisting with developing and implementing new procedures to enhance efficiency.
· Stay current with new and better practices.
- Other Duties: Performing other related tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
· Previous experience, preferably in agriculture or a related field is a MUST
- Familiarity with tractors, agricultural machinery, and small to heavy-duty trucks; basic mechanical knowledge is an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Time management and ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve operational issues.
· Tree nut experience a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
- Clean driving record with valid license

- Bilingual (Spanish and English) a plus.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or technical training in fleet management, automotive repair, or agriculture preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. and work in outdoor environments as needed
- Willingness to travel to remote field locations for fleet inspections or support
