The Opportunity
The Loss Prevention Specialist position will be responsible for leading the safe operations of the facility. This role will be key to maintaining the integrity of Agri-Genesis, ensuring all procedures and processes are followed.
Duties will include but not be limited to the following;
- Properly meet and assist all patients and visitors who enter the building
- Properly document all employees and visitors as required by the company
- Assist facility staff with creating a hospitable helping environment
- Take lead when emergency situations arise; examples - emergency weather, power outages, unruly persons, disturbances and/or building lock downs
- Assist with data entry, utilizing company computer systems
- Operate company camera surveillance system to monitor activities on company property
- Ensure all security measures and policies are being utilized to prevent security issues
- Protect Agri-Genesis/Sunrise assets and prevent loss by ensuring all company standards and operating procedures are met, including workplace safety, inventory control, compliance and loss prevention measures
- Ensure all employees are properly utilizing company security policies and standards
- Works closely with the head of security when developing and implementing company policies.
- Be capable of successfully completing all training required by the company
- Able to safely protect and utilize sidearm and other security tools which may be required by the company
- Conducts building inspections as time allows checking that all doors are secured as required by policy
- Monitors all safety/security aspects during business opening and closing operations. Maintaining the safety and security of employees and company assets.
Qualifications:
- Must be over 21 years of age
- Legally allowed to possess and utilize a firearm
- Able to obtain a Missouri Medical Marijuana Agent Card
- Able to obtain Security Licensing for jurisdiction (if required)
- Must have understanding of hospitality practices and leadership principles
- Able to walk and stand for long periods of time, bend and lift over 50 lbs. comfortably
- Must be able to work a varied schedule including nights and weekends
- Must be able to speak English fluently; additional languages preferred
- Prior Security or Law Enforcement experience required
- Ethical and conscientious individual who leads with integrity
- Must be an excellent communicator
- Ability to utilize any and all security systems necessary
- Ability to utilize and maintain security of sidearm and other security tools.
