What You’ll Be Doing:
- Operate & Maintain Equipment: Take charge of the directional boring machine, locator, and support truck for a variety of installations.
- Drill to Precision: Drill in line with blueprints and designated plans to get the job done right.
- Route Navigation: Accurately locate the boring head along the designated bore route for flawless performance.
- Hands-on Work: Use HydroVac and hand-dig to expose utility lines when needed.
- ️ Mixing Expertise: Operate mixers to blend water and drilling additives, ensuring hole stability throughout the process.
- Transport Machinery: Safely transport machinery to and from job sites.
- Stay Flexible: Adapt to changing schedules and occasionally travel for out-of-town jobs.
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid CDL License: Required to operate vehicles and machinery.
- Physical Strength & Stamina: Be prepared for physically demanding work in various weather conditions.
- Technical Skills: Experience operating directional boring machines and related equipment is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to read and follow blueprints to ensure precise drilling.
- ️ Hands-on Experience: Familiarity with HydroVac operations, hand digging, and equipment maintenance.
Work Conditions & Schedule:
- Outdoor Work: This is an outdoor job, so be ready for all kinds of weather!
- Occasional Travel: You may be required to stay out of town for certain projects.
- Flexible Hours: Full-time position with possible overtime and weekend work as needed.
