What are the responsibilities and job description for the Application Technician position at Agri-Stor Management?
We are seeking an Application Technician in our Warden, Washington branch, for chemical application to crops in storage (potatoes and onions). This full-time position. Pay is negotiable depending on experience and you will receive premium bonus incentives upon completion of a 90-day probationary period. This job is generally 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. During our busy Harvest Season, overtime will be required based on customer's needs. Weekend and evening work can be expected. Overtime pay is calculated at regular hourly rate, times 1.5, for any hours worked over 40 per week.

As a member of our skilled team, you will be responsible for:
- Setting up application machines, maintaining chemical levels, and monitoring equipment during applications.
- Cleaning work area of storage facility upon application completion.
- Climbing ladders to remove fan screens, etc. and other physical activity for job preparation.
- Climbing on top of potato / onion piles to acquire information such as temperature readings, as well as place flags.
- Assisting other custom applicators with their duties.
- Delivering and picking up chemical from multiple customer locations.
- Assisting the Service Department with installs and service calls.
- Assisting the Service Department with Storage Pre-Season and Startups, if needed.
- Not required at the time of employment but prefer that you have a WA State Pesticide license. Must obtain in time.
- Pesticide License a Big Plus.

Our insurance company requires drug testing and background checking. You will need to have a valid driver's license and a good acceptable driving record. The job requires lifting 50 pounds on a regular basis, and overtime hours and weekends are required as we respond to the busy harvest season.
