Scanning Coordinator
Implement item pricing changes and merchandise additions and deletions for retail operations.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensures accuracy of pricing data between sales floor, database, and automated pricing systems.
- Initiates all price changes.
- Verifies prices of items throughout the store by randomly performing price checks.
- Maintains labels and signs on shelves.
- Assists with product location in conjunction with Inventory Clerk.
- Work with management to suggest pricing changes based on inventory, demand, and profitability.
- Provides administrative assistance through running routine pricing reports as well as ad hoc reports
- Compares printed labels with entries on purchase order and/or merchandise to verify accuracy and notifies supervisor of discrepancies.
- Any and all other duties assigned by management
Qualifications & Education Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associates Degree in Business or related field a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft office suite, especially excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- 1 year(s) related merchandizing experience strongly preferred
Additional Notes
This position reports directly to the store manager but will receive instruction from leads, training coordinator, and other store management.
The environment of this position is a retail warehouse, there will be dust and dirt due to the products we sell.
