Job Description
Inventory clerks are responsible for maintaining all inventory, parts and products, including new items in stock. As an inventory clerk, you track products or materials that come into and go out of the inventory via inventory records.
Duties & Responsibilities
This position is evening shift 3:00pm to midnight
This position reports directly to the store manager but will receive instruction from leads, training coordinator, and other store management.
The environment of this position is a retail warehouse, there will be dust and dirt due to the products we sell.
Job Description
Inventory clerks are responsible for maintaining all inventory, parts and products, including new items in stock. As an inventory clerk, you track products or materials that come into and go out of the inventory via inventory records.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Performs overstock and shelf location audits
- Performs daily scans of stock outs and creates lists of items to be pulled and stocked
- Pulls overstock and stocks shelves, including incoming freight
- Adjusts item locations as needed
- Performs spot counts of items and corrects inventory as needed
- Corrects inventory based on reports from staff, including items not found during scans
- Reviews and corrects items that have a negative on-hand inventory
- Maintains discontinued items including removal of tags and locations
- Conducts routine cycle counts including top performing items as assigned by management
- Any and all other duties assigned by management
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 1 year of previous retail or inventory experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient it math – add, subtract, divide
- Proficient with computers
- Agricultural background either through schooling or personal experience a plus due to our type of inventory
