Title: Farm Hand/Equipment Operator
Job Overview: The Farm Hand/ Equipment Operator is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and delivery of agronomy and farm products. This role involves ensuring the efficient and safe use of application equipment, as well as providing sales and support services related to agronomy products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain custom application equipment, ensuring it functions at peak efficiency for all field applications.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on assigned equipment and facilities to minimize downtime and ensure reliable performance.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify and address potential issues before they impact operations.
- Deliver and distribute agronomy products (fertilizers, pesticides, etc.) to farms in a timely and safe manner.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and transportation of farm products to maintain product integrity.
- Engage in the sales of agronomy products, providing recommendations and expertise to customers based on their specific needs.
- Apply agronomy products (such as fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides) according to customer specifications, ensuring accurate and effective application.
- Perform related duties as required to support farm operations and meet business objectives.
- Maintain accurate records of product applications, deliveries, and sales activities.
Are You Qualified?
- Able to work overtime and occasional weekends.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must be willing to submit to a DOT drug test and background.
