Job Title: Grain Operator
We are currently looking for a dependable, team-oriented Grain Operator with strong communication skills and attention to detail to join our team. As a Grain Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and reliable operation of our grain handling and processing equipment. You will oversee the operation of multiple sets of machinery throughout the season to maintain high production standards and quality for our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all tasks safely and efficiently, adhering to established safety standards.
- Operate grain handling and conditioning equipment with a focus on minimizing downtime.
- Conduct accurate and timely quality checks, properly documenting results.
- Clean and maintain equipment between operations to ensure product quality and integrity.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and in compliance with safety protocols.
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with coworkers and customers.
- Adherence to company policies and procedures for safety and quality.
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders as necessary.
- Experience in grain handling, seed conditioning, or maintenance is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines and goals.
- Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned by the department supervisor.
- Ability to pass a background and drug test.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
