NOW HIRING -- Seasonal Laborer
The Seasonal Laborer will support the cooperative's agricultural operations by performing a variety of tasks related to crops. This position requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions. The seasonal laborer will work closely with farmers and other team members to ensure the successful execution of farm activities.
POSSIBLE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in Crop Production: Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, such as tractors, loaders, skid-steers, forklifts. Load/unload incoming grains from farmers. Deliver agriculture products to farmers in the field.
General Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including cleaning, oiling, and making minor repairs. Keep work areas clean and organized.
Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to achieve farm goals.
Communicate effectively and proactively with colleagues and supervisors.
Adaptability: Be willing to assist with various tasks and projects as needed, which may include seasonal changes in responsibilities.
