NOW HIRING -- Agronomy Sales Specialist
Sales and Business Development: Actively seek out and establish relationships with potential customers, including farmers, ranchers, growers, and agricultural organizations. Promote and sell agronomic products, such as fertilizers, seeds, pesticides, and other inputs, as well as services like soil testing and crop consulting.
Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the agronomy products and services offered by the company, including their features, benefits, and applications. Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in agronomy to effectively communicate the value of products to customers.
Customer Consultation: Analyze customers' agronomic needs, crop requirements, and land characteristics to recommend suitable products and services that align with their goals. Provide professional advice on crop management practices, pest control, nutrient management, and irrigation strategies.
Demonstrations and Training: Organize and conduct product demonstrations, field trials, and training sessions for customers to showcase the effectiveness of agronomic products and educate them on best practices for implementation.
Sales Targets: Set and achieve sales targets and revenue objectives for specific products or territories. Develop sales strategies and action plans to meet and exceed sales goals.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty. Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing to identify opportunities and threats. Provide feedback to the marketing and product development teams to improve product offerings and strategies.
Collaboration: Work closely with agronomists, crop scientists, and other internal teams to stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of agronomy, enhancing your expertise and ability to provide comprehensive solutions.
