Key Responsibilities :

Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and senior leadership team on financial matters.
Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making, identify opportunities for growth, and improve operational efficiency.
Analyze financial data, market trends, and industry benchmarks to drive strategic initiatives.

Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks across the business, including market volatility, commodity price fluctuations, and regulatory changes.

Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, standards, and tax laws.

Manage the company’s treasury, liquidity, and capital structure.

Lead cost control initiatives to optimize resource utilization across the agriculture supply chain.

Evaluate financial performance and drive profitability improvements by identifying key cost-saving opportunities and revenue-generating strategies.

Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.

Provide mentoring and development opportunities for finance professionals to ensure continuous growth and skill development.

Maintain strong relationships with investors, financial institutions, and other external stakeholders.

Lead fundraising efforts, including debt and equity financing, and provide insights to improve shareholder value.

Qualifications :

Education :

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.

Experience :

Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial leadership roles, with a significant portion in agriculture or agribusiness.

Proven track record of managing financial strategy, operations, and reporting in a complex, multi-faceted organization.

Strong knowledge of financial regulations and tax laws specific to the agricultural industry.

Skills :

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities with experience managing teams.

Expertise in financial software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel modeling.

In-depth knowledge of agriculture market dynamics, commodity pricing, and supply chain management.
