About the Opportunity:
Agriland FS is committed to excellence and innovation in the seed industry. We seek a highly organized and self-directed individual to join our team as a Regional Seed Sales Manager. As a leader in our seed sales efforts, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive profitable growth.
Responsibilities:
- Seed Sales Growth: Develop and implement plans to drive profitable growth of seed and trait sales in assigned trade territory.
- Customer Engagement: Regularly interact with key seed customers and prospects, conducting targeted meetings and providing product information.
- Sales Training: Train and develop Crop Specialists on seed selling techniques and product information.
- Marketing Initiatives: Develop and implement seed marketing activities to retain customers and expand the customer base.
- Supply Chain Coordination: Coordinate ordering for each location, working closely with Procurement Manager and supply administration personnel.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent, plus 5-7 years of sales experience (agriculture major preferred).
- Product Expertise: Working knowledge of seed, fertilizer, and crop protection products.
- Market Understanding: Familiarity with market analysis, pricing strategies, and supply forecasts.
- Sales Leadership: Skilled in sales leadership, closing techniques, and team-oriented environment.
- Communication Skills: Professional communication, time management, decision-making, and organizational skills.
- Travel Requirements: Must have a valid driver's license and be able to travel overnight on a limited basis.
- Physical Demands: Able to lift seed bags up to 70 pounds.
