Job Description
AgriSompo is seeking IT Programmers to maintain and enhance our custom-built crop insurance application. The system, called AgriNet, is considered one of the leading crop insurance applications in the industry. It supports all of the insurance functions including policy administration, quoting / rating, GIS mapping of cropland, claims, accounting, reporting and transmission of data to the U.S. Government. We have approximately 3,000 Agents and 900 employees using the system to support approximately 80k policy holders and 90m acres of farmland.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with Technical Leads and Senior Engineers in defining, designing, building, managing, and maintaining technical solutions in accordance with the IT SDLC processes, standards and best practices.
- Ensure that functional and non-functional requirements are clearly understood, designed against, tested and documented for performing, reliable, scalable, portable and highly available applications
- Participate in code reviews and validations for engineers' deliverables, and ensure that proper level (as required by SDLC) of design documentation, traceability and test coverage are in place for functional and non-functional requirements and use-cases
- Manage enhancements and changes, and resolution of incidents and problems for technical solutions in accordance with IT service delivery and support principles and SLAs.

Qualifications Include :
Salary Range : $65,000- $125,000 Actual compensation for this role will depend on several factors including the cost of living associated with your work location, your qualifications, skills, competencies, and relevant experience.
