The Engineering Technician Lead is a key component to the Traveling Project Team providing team leadership to directly oversee Traveling Project Team responsibilities, pipe fitting and routings, welding, fabrication, installation and start-up support to Agropur US plantsLead and manage a small (two to six) person installation team for assigned projects at any of Agropur US plants.Responsible for welding and fabrication of equipment in a dairy manufacturing environment, to include welding, plasma cutting, punching, bending, drilling, shearing, and other metal working processes.Starting at $43.26 / hourTraveling position6am-4pm : Schedule varies depending on location and travel. $1.50 night differential for hours worked between 6pm-6amDouble time on Sunday and holiday payWhat you need to join our team : Associates or Technical Degree in a craftsmanship trade required.Minimum ten (10) years of manufacturing and / or industrial maintenance experience required.Experience working with blueprints and shop drawings and reading measurements required.Good working knowledge of tools, welding, piping practices, and safety required.Previous experience as fitter, welder, fabricator, and mechanic required.Ability to work with minimum supervision, adapt to a changing environment quickly, and think independently.Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time,bend, andlift upto 50lbs. Ability to work in a loud environment.Equivalent combination of education and / or experience may be considered.
