As a Production Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the Plant Leadership Team and other production team members on various tasks and projects to produce cheese and whey products while improving plant efficiencies.
Salary and Benefits:

Job Responsibilities:
Work in various areas of plant operations, including milk receiving, cheese make, drying, packaging, shipping, and more. Projects may involve improving processes, plant, and employee efficiencies. Acquire knowledge of regulations, industry trends, current practices, new developments, and applicable laws related to dairy manufacturing operations. Collaborate with Operations employees to learn about their roles and responsibilities.
Gain a thorough understanding of Agropur's business model and how to manage an efficient Operations department. Learn to work safely and efficiently while maintaining accuracy. Develop strong organizational and time management skills, demonstrate results-driven behavior, and exhibit strong interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
Requirements:
Currently enrolled in an Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or Master's program in Dairy Science or Agricultural Science-related programs as a candidate for graduation. Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and field-specific software. Intermediate math skills for data analysis and measurements.
Additional Opportunities:
