We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our team as a Loss Prevention and Safety Specialist at Agropur.
This internship provides an excellent opportunity for students pursuing a degree in Occupational, Environmental Safety & Health; Risk Management; or related field to gain hands-on experience in the dairy food industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing safety procedures and information systems for employees.
- Develop and update training modules and quizzes to ensure effective employee training.
- Conduct gap analyses for and update safety policies and procedures.
- Participate in online or local professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Perform Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in an Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or Master's program in Occupational, Environmental Safety & Health; Risk Management; or related field.
- Solid understanding of safety regulations and industry trends.
- Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office and field-specific software.
