Duties
- Operate and monitor machinery, including lathes and assembly line equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand specifications and requirements for machining parts.
- Utilize hand tools and calipers for precise measurements and adjustments during the machining process.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines, troubleshooting issues as they arise to minimize downtime.
- Assemble components as per specifications while adhering to GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and improve operational efficiency.
Skills
- Proficiency in operating lathes and other machining equipment.
- Strong blueprint reading skills to interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and assembly line processes.
